miniPaintStudio
A HOME FOR EVERYDAY CREATIVITY

Open-source tools.
Your own ideas.

miniPaint Studio is an independent deployment of miniPaint, an open-source image editor created by ViliusL and contributors. This site adds an independent Studio 2.0 workspace, a dedicated introduction and practical editing guides around the browser editor. The workspace includes familiar keyboard shortcuts, command search, a history panel, inline layer blending and opacity, a size-linked resize dialog, export previews and optional local recovery.

What you can do here

Open a local image, work with layers, crop and resize, add text, adjust colors and apply filters. Export a finished image or save a JSON project with editable layers. The underlying editor runs in your browser using web technologies.

What this site is not

This is not the official miniPaint website, an Adobe product or a complete replacement for desktop Photoshop. We do not claim full PSD compatibility, professional print color management, AI image generation or guaranteed recovery of unsaved work.

Project and version

This first release uses miniPaint 4.14.3, pinned to upstream commit a79733eb803fc97084ef0ee4faa96b031e69e1c0. The upstream editor is distributed under the MIT license. Its original copyright notices and bundled dependency notices are retained.

About our guides

The guides describe the features and English menu labels in this deployed version. They include limitations and link to the relevant upstream implementation. They are not professional photography advice or claims that every device will produce identical results.

Feedback and problems

For an editor-engine bug, check the upstream issue tracker and its reporting guidance. This deployment’s introduction and guides are maintained separately. Avoid including confidential images or private information in public bug reports.
