Opening a local image and editing with built-in tools processes the image on your device. This deployment has no image-upload backend, user accounts, advertising scripts or analytics tags.
Local files and downloads
The editor reads a file you select or drop into it. Ordinary local editing does not send that file to this site’s server. Export and project-save actions create downloads. Save your work before closing the tab; this site does not provide cloud backup or guaranteed recovery.
Browser storage and settings
The upstream editor can use cookies or local browser storage for preferences and optional quick-save features. The Studio workspace also offers an optional IndexedDB recovery checkpoint, off by default. If enabled, it keeps one project on this device after edits (up to 20 MB, on canvases up to 16 megapixels). You can restore or clear it from Local recovery settings. Turning recovery off stops future checkpoints; Clear checkpoint removes the stored one. These settings and checkpoints are stored in your browser, not a user account on this site. Clearing site data may remove settings or local recovery data. Do not treat optional quick save as a replacement for downloaded files.
Optional external features
Some editor features can contact other services when you choose them. Loading a remote image requests its URL. Adding or using a web font may request a font provider. External tools linked in the editor open separate websites with their own policies. Do not include confidential information in remote URLs. The landing page and guides use local assets and system fonts.
Hosting and connection information
Cloudflare serves the site. Like other web hosts, it may process connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser headers and security signals to deliver and protect the service. We therefore do not claim that visiting the site creates no network traffic or that hosting infrastructure keeps no logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
What is not included
No image cloud storage, account registration, newsletter form, tracking pixel or third-party analytics library has been added to this first release. If those features are introduced later, the explanation here should be updated to reflect the actual behavior.
Practical precautions
Keep an original copy of important images. Review downloaded files before sharing them. If you use the editor on a shared device, clear sensitive local project data when you finish. Your device, browser extensions and any external service you intentionally use can affect privacy independently of this site.
